Expectations raised by the people around us can be overwhelming and hard to achieve. From going to college, getting a new job, to something as complex as being a good mom, it seems we are sometimes on a rollercoaster of reaching for the goals that other people set for us.
The reassurance we can gain through all of the turmoil of trying to be who we are ‘supposed to be’ is that not one of us is like the other in every way, and we should purposefully celebrate our differences.
